As I am getting older and abusing my hair with heat more, it is naturally starting to thin. Not only does that mean that my hair is thin but it has less volume making it lank and lacklustre. I have tried loads of products to try and combat this thinning before I need to fork out for a hair transplant!
I have seen the Nanogen shampoo and conditioner in my local Boots store a few times but for some reason never picked it up before. The shampoo and conditioner I was sent is specifically for thin hair which is perfect for me. It has a pleasant smell and feels just like a regular shampoo and conditioner, in fact, you use it in the same way so for this step of the process your hair washing routine will be exactly the same. The only difference I have noticed is how squeaky clean my hair feels after using these products and how much fuller my hair feels.
The Treatment Serum is applied directly to the scalp to stimulate hair growth at the root. It is recommended to be used daily although, with it being an oil and needed to be used daily, it can be a chore and I found myself applying this of an evening and washing out in the morning instead. I couldn’t use it every day as I just don’t have the time in my routine to wash oil out of my hair every day but this makes the most sense to me, applying a product directly to the skin rather than on hair where it will wash away.
I really enjoyed using the Root Boost Hair Thickening Spray which you spray into the hair like a styling product before drying as normal. I find this really coats my hair and leaves it fuller, more volumised and healthy looking.
I am not sure if my hair is actually thicker but it certainly feels fuller and looks a lot healthier. Thanks Nanogen, I can’t wait to see my results from more use.
