If you follow me on social media you probably already know that there is a new addition to my household. Meet Ferguson, the tri colour border collie.
He’s now five months old and I can’t quite believe that he hasn’t starred on my blog until now! It has been a testing few months and as I write this post he is in the dog house (pub intended) having chewed through a box, 6 protein bars and several sachets of pre workout and vitamins.
As you can imagine border collies are full of energy and take a lot of exercise to keep them entertained. Walking can be messy business but I am determined to at least try and do it in style, so when Tessuti offered to send me some trainers to try out I thought the miles I now do around the park would be the perfect research.
Woden are a Scandinavian trainer brand that I hadn’t heard of before. Their range are on the expensive side with the trainers I have being priced at £80 but their design is different and like nothing else on the market.
The insoles are cork which makes them slightly bouncy and really comfortable for long walks. They are stylish with on trend themes, at the moment they are all about metallics and animal print. I chose these bronze trainers with cream soles and laces. I was expecting the material to crack or at least crease but, having worn them for a few weeks now, they still look as good as new.
The back of the trainer is padded and softer than the material of the rest of the trainer making them comfortable for all day wear yet still structured enough for them to look neat and a little more formal.
I have been wearing mine with skinny jeans and a top for dress down days at work or a chunky jumper for walking the dog.
Ferguson and I have been on many adventures already with my Woden trainers and he certainly appreciates my feet being comfier for longer as it means more ball throwing and more play time!
