I have a bit of a confession to make today – I have a bit of an addiction to those Facebook quizzes. You know the ones I mean – What country should you live in? How many children will you have? They are always wrong. Apparently I should live in Poland which I totally don’t agree with and believe my answers always point to somewhere much warmer, and apparently I am going to have three children. Interesting considering I am single and 34!
Those clever peeps over at TransPennine Express have put together a quiz to test how Mancunian you are. Considering I have lived in Manchester all my life you would think I’d score really well on this. That said, I’m not ‘traditionally’ Mancunian really. I mean I have never been to Sankeys (one of the questions) and I had no idea where Liam Gallagher was from but I do think I made a well educated guess.
I scored 66% which they say makes me an expat. I’m not sure I would call myself an expat but I do agree with the 66%. Perhaps Stockport is that bit too far out in the suburbs to consider me a fully fledged Mancunian but I will be brushing up on my Oasis knowledge and drinking more Vimto, just to be sure.
